Where to start

Four entry points — each one tied to a kind of decision you're already making.

For cross-border foundersSetting up — and structured to last.

Most founders we work with have already met two or three corp services firms before they reach us. What ALG adds is a conversation about structure, not a checklist of filings. The Pte Ltd is the easy part. The holding architecture, the tax exposure across that structure, and the timing of work passes are what determine whether the company holds up under five years of cross-border operation.

For HNW principals & familiesFamily office, beyond the rule book.

Section 13O and 13U are not templates. The minimum AUM, the local employee requirement, the spending floor — each rule has context the rule book doesn't print. Across the family office engagements we have taken on, we have learned the contexts that matter.

For GIP-eligible investorsApproval rests on what happens before submission.

The Global Investor Programme is hard. The questions that decide approval are not in the eligibility checklist — they are in the EDB interview and in how your case is structured before submission. We have advised on engagements approved across the GIP scheme; submission is coordinated via EDB-designated agents. The interview questions, we have prepared for.

For families relocating to SingaporeOne decision, in the right order.

Visa, PR, schools, healthcare, housing — for a relocating family, this is not five services. It is one set of choices, made in the right order. We start with a diagnostic call before any service is recommended, because the sequence saves more cost than choosing the right vendor afterwards.

Why six pillars

Six pillars is not a marketing taxonomy.
It is the outcome of declining the wrong requests.

When ALG opened in 2018, we worked across the full Singapore corporate services menu. Over time the pattern became clear: a small set of services drove the engagements where we were genuinely useful; a larger set drove engagements where we were one of many vendors with comparable capability.

We collapsed the menu. Incorporation, corporate secretary, accounting and tax, work visas, the Global Investor Programme, and family office became the six pillars where ALG now runs end-to-end. The nineteen further services we offer — banking, licensing, IP, HR, reporting, trust, and lifestyle support — are still delivered, but anchored to one of the six.

Diagnose-first means every engagement begins by asking which of the six pillars actually solves the problem. Sometimes the answer is none of them. We say so.

Beyond the six pillars

Nineteen further services — delivered as anchors to one of the six.

Selected services launch in stages. Family office and GIP advisory remain advisory only — investment management sits at sister entity Anlian Capital Pte Ltd (MAS CMS101702).
